PhD positions:

We are always open to welcome motivated students with a great academic background to work on their PhD with us. University of Glasgow offers a limited number of scholarships every year for both UK and international students. Deadlines for this are usually in January and June of each year. Postdoctoral positions:

We welcome applications from PhD graduates to work on their postdoctoral research in our group. There are primarily two ways to fund a postdoctoral position: a personal fellowship or a funded research associate position.

1. Personal fellowships are typically quite competitive but also prestigious. There are periodic calls from the major UK and EU funders. It is useful to keep an eye on the websites of agencies such as EPSRC, ERC, Newton fund, EU MSCA actions, the royal commission of 1851. The University of Glasgow also offers considerable support to excellent applicants via the LKAS scheme. If you think you're eligible for one of these and want to apply, feel free to discuss your detailed plans with Prashant. It's essential that you gather some background information from the funders' websites before reaching out to us.

2. Research associate positions are advertised as they become available. Currently we do not have any vacancies.
